On Tuesday October 29th, the CAA Netherlands/Flanders local chapter meeting will be held in Leuven, Belgium. The event is organised by the Department of Archaeology at the KU Leuven in collaboration with the Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities.
With ever increasing ubiquity of digital tools and practices, and applications related to data science in archaeology, the organising committee is expecting a prolific event that critically focuses on the theory and practice of digital and quantitative methods in archaeology.

CAA Nederland/Vlaanderen is verheugd u te kunnen meedelen dat de local chapter meeting 2019 zal plaatsvinden in Leuven (België) op 29-30 oktober 2019. De bijeenkomst wordt georganiseerd de Onderzoeksgroep Archeologie van de KU Leuven, in samenwerken met het Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities. De lezingen worden voorafgegaan door dag met workshops (28 oktober 2019). Details over de workshops worden binnenkort bekend gemaakt.

CAA Nederland/Vlaanderen is verheugd u te kunnen meedelen dat de local chapter meeting 2019 zal plaatsvinden in Leuven (België) op 29-30 oktober 2019. De bijeenkomst wordt georganiseerd de Onderzoeksgroep Archeologie van de KU Leuven, in samenwerken met het Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities. Zoals steeds is het doel van de meeting om archeologen uit de academische en commerciële wereld en archeologie-studenten samen te brengen. De lezingen worden voorafgegaan door dag met workshops (28 oktober 2019). Details over de workshops worden binnenkort bekend gemaakt.

CAA-NL-FL is op zoek naar abstracts die kunnen worden ingediend tot maandag 2 september 2019.

DAWN 2019 komt naar Amsterdam!

In 2019 organiseert CAA Nederland-Vlaanderen, in samenwerking met de Digital Archaeology Group van de Universiteit Leiden, opnieuw een dag met workshops over het gebruik van digitale technieken en specifieke softwarepakketten in archeologisch onderzoek. De workshops zijn gericht op zowel studenten, onderzoekers als archeologen actief in de commerciële sector.

Om een beter beeld te krijgen van de verwachtingen en wensen van deze doelgroepen is een enquete opgesteld met mogelijke onderwerpen.
